The Department of Public Works announced that it will start work on Old Fall River Road on Thursday, September 29.

The department plans to repave Hixville Road to Rego Way between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., subject to the weather.

Passers-by should expect traffic delays. Local detours will be posted if necessary.
