The Department of Public Works also announced a parking ban in effect from 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24 through 12 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 (midnight Friday night) due to expected snowfall from a winter storm.

No parking will be allowed on the hydrant side of streets. If there is no hydrant, residents should park on the even house numbered side.

Solid waste and recycling will not be picked up Friday and will instead be collected on Saturday.

A National Weather Service winter storm watch will be in effect in southern Bristol County from midnight Thursday night until midnight Friday night, with an expected snowfall of 4-6 inches.
