Pack a picnic, bring a flag and get ready to enjoy an old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration as the Dartmouth Community Band and Historical and Arts Society once again host their annual Band & Picnic at the Russells Mills Schoolhouse.

This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, July 3 from 4 to 6 p.m., with a rain date of July 4. The picnic kicks off at 4 p.m., followed by a patriotic concert from 5 to 6 p.m. under the direction of Conductor John Furtado.

The celebration has become a cherished local tradition, drawing families from Dartmouth and neighboring communities for an evening of music and memories.
