Police arrested a fugitive after finding her in the middle of Russells Mills Road during early morning hours.

Kayla Medeiros, 22, of 25 Sunset Avenue, Westport, was wanted in Rhode Island for narcotic offenses, police said. Police found Medeiros walking in the middle of the road around 1:50 a.m. on February 23, and arrested her.

Medeiros was charged with being a fugitive from justice.
