The Dartmouth Police Department has located a missing Dartmouth teen thanks to its social media use.
On May 2, police asked the public to help them track down 16-year-old Tyejalese Dade. On May 6, police posted that Dade had been found.
"After receiving numerous tips based on our May 2nd post, Detective Sean McGuire and I located Tyejalese Dade in Fall River," wrote Detective Kyle Costa.
According to the post, Dade has been reunited with her family.
Costa said Dade was not abducted, but a runaway. The state Department of Children and Families is now handling the situation.
