Police are seeking help to identify the man suspected of attempting to rob a State Road convenience store with a knife.

Police responded to Gold Star Market, located at 634 State Road, for a reported armed robbery around 8:40 p.m. on April 23.

Prior to officers' arrival, the man fled. He is described as white, approximately 5 feet and 10 inches, and wearing a dark shirt with gray pants and a gray hat. During the robbery, the suspect covered his face with a white t-shirt, police said.

Though a knife was displayed, no one was injured, and the suspect did not get away with anything, said police.
