Event has passed
The Lloyd Center for the Environment will host a Full Moon Owl Prowl on March 20, 6:45-8:45 p.m.
The event, which will be led by Research Associate Jamie Bogart, will begin with a hike of the center’s trails before venturing to other locations in the region. Screech, great horned, and barred owls are all resident species possibly encountered in the woods of Dartmouth.
Those attending should bring binoculars, camera, and flashlight, and wear footwear for light walking on forest trails, and possibly snow. Transportation by van to off-site locations will be provided.
This event is $10 for Lloyd Center members, and $13 for non-members. Children under 12 are half-price. Space is limited to 20 participants. This event is suitable for ages 10 and older.
In the event of stormy weather, or excessively windy conditions, the event will be postponed to March 21.
Pre-registration is required. Visit lloydcenter.org/calendar to register online. Contact Bogart at 508-990-0505 x 23 or jbogart@lloydcenter.org for questions or more information.
