The Department of Public Works has announced that there will be roadway reconstruction work done on Smith Neck Rd. from Rock O’Dundee Rd. to Degaris Ave. The work will take place, weather permitting, between September 24 and October 12 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The town warns drivers to expect traffic delays and seek alternate routes. Local detours will be posted when necessary.
