Rose F. (Amaral) Pypec, 77, of Dartmouth died Saturday at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward M. Pypec.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Amaral, Jr. and the late Rose (Cunha) Amaral, Rose resided in Dartmouth for over 35 years.

She had been a CNA at St Luke's Hospital for several years. A Seamstress, she owned and operated Rosie's Alterations in Dartmouth for many years.

She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church, was a member and Past Commander of the DAV Auxillary and she loved to travel running Rosie's Travelers.

Surviving: a son, Michael R. Ferreira of Dartmouth and several friends.

Her Services will be private.
