Run or walk at the eighth-annual DNRT Trail Race
Get those comfy shoes ready, the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust is hosting its eighth annual trail race on Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Destruction Brook Woods.
The woods, located at 205 Slades Corner Road, feature wide trails and great views on a 3.3 mile course that is “completely trail race,” according to the DNRT.
This will be the first in-person race since 2019, as the previous two years were done virtually.
Walkers are also welcome to enjoy a 2.4 mile walking course.
Spectators can also cheer people on at the start and finish lines. There will be free post-race pizza and beer.
No dogs or strollers are allowed on the running or walking courses during the day of the race.
Cost is $35 for the run and $25 for the walk. Registration fees help support land preservation, open space, and DNRT’s 40+ mile trail network.
DNRT members get $5 off toward signing up.
