Sandra Roberts Fogg, 86, of Dartmouth, passed away at home on Thursday September 8, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Mildred and Bissett Jeremiah Roberts, she was a longtime resident of Dartmouth.

Sandy is survived by her beloved husband, C. Douglas Fogg, M.D., and her children and their families, Daphne Fogg Siegal and her husband, Edward Siegal, Douglas Fogg and his wife, Mary O’Sullivan, Diedre Fogg, and Dirk Fogg and his wife, Birgit; grandchildren Joshua Fogg, Charles Fogg (Meagan Danforth), Benjamin Siegal (Megan), Cameron Siegal (Jaclyn), Lily Siegal (Soroush Irandoust), Abigail Siegal Leech (John Henry Leech), Eloise Fogg, Tabor Fogg, and five great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her brother, Kim Roberts (Kim), her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Roberts, and her sister, Sydney Vanner (Jim Thomas), as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late B.J. Roberts and Susan Roberts.

Sandy was a long-time member of The Congregational Church of South Dartmouth and was involved with the Finance Ministry, the Women’s Guild, and as a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Association for the Relief of Aged Women of New Bedford for forty years and a docent at the Whaling Museum for many years. She was involved with the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts when her children were young.

A memorial service will be held at the Congregational Church of South Dartmouth at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24 with a reception and celebration of life to follow at the Wamsutta Club at 427 County St., New Bedford. Burial will be private for the family.
