Santa visit, gingerbread houses, and fun at preschool celebration

Preschoolers and families at Hawthorn Hill Preschool celebrated the holidays with a visit from gingerbread houses, cookie decorating, and a Santa Claus.
It was all part of Gingerbread Night, hosted at the Slocum Road preschool on December 18. Santa and his elves stopped by to tell the children in attendance stories, and took a few questions himself about the logistics of visiting Dartmouth.
Santa met with each child, and after that there was plenty more to do with cookie decorating, gingerbread house making, and holiday fun.
It was organized by preschool staff to give kids and families a fun Christmas-time event to bring everyone together at the preschool.
“It’s always good to get the families here they are very family oriented,” noted director Cindy Gaspar.
