At the conclusion of the final Select Board meeting of 2015, Select Board chair Shawn McDonald announced that he will be seeking another term.

McDonald has served two terms on the Select Board. His second term is up in April 2016.

“I’ve enjoyed a seat on this board for the last five and a half years,” said McDonald. “As one member of this board, we have tried to make this town better every day.”

“I appreciate everybody’s support in the past, and I look forward to serving this town for another three years,” he added.

McDonald has previously served on the School Committee, the Board of Park Commissioners, and the Finance Committee.

“I’ve been a Town Meeting member since I was 18 years old,” he said.
