State awards funds to Dartmouth ‘Buy Local’ organization

Nov 27, 2023

Dartmouth-based “Buy Local” group, Southeastern MA Agricultural Partnership, or SEMAP, will receive $85,250 from the state, a press release from Governor Healey announced on Nov. 27.

SEMAP is one of ten organizations across the state that collectively will receive $800,000 from the state. The Healey-Driscoll Administration identified the organizations as working to generate consumer awareness for locally grown food products, with an eye toward environmental justice.

While based in Dartmouth, SEMAP serves the entirety of southeastern Massachusetts, from Bristol to Plymouth to Norfolk counties.
