The Knights of Columbus Fr. John F. Hogan Council #14236 is hosting its fourth Annual Golf Classic Sunday, August 11.

The shot gone start will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Hill in Lakeville, which according to the council is a Par 3 course with a “very interesting and challenging layout.”

Last year, the council raised just over $6,000 for local charities as a result of the tournament.

A single player is $115 and a foursome is $460, which includes 18 holes with cart and a box lunch with a sandwich and chips prior to the start. Following the conclusion of the tournament, dinner at $25 will include hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, chips and cookies.

Sponsorships of $1,000 include a foursome entry, dinner for four as well as signage throughout the tournament. Tee Sponsors are $100 and includes company signage at teeboxes. A $250 car sponsorship includes free teebox signage. For professional signage, the council asks people to email a high-quality JPEG logo to anthony.rose2@bristolcc.edu by Sunday, July 14.

There will be various various prizes, including assorted liquor baskets and Titleist and Taylor made golf items.

Additionally, there will be an Air Cannon Contest, which uses an air cannon to project a golf ball for a closest to the pin contest, and a Putting Contest, which will include holes in one and closest to the pin.

Each contest will have an entry fee, which will be split between the council and winning participants.
