The Dartmouth High School Alumni Association held its 112th annual banquet at Rachel's Lakeside on Sunday, May 26.

The banquet was held in honor of the scholarship recipients from this year’s graduating class as well as the Dartmouth High Class of 1969, who celebrated 50 years since their graduation.

Alumni Association president Enid Silva presented the following awards from funds entrusted to the association either by endowment, memorial funds, or bequests: 

Celeste (Pinheiro) Andrews Memorial Scholarships awarded to Bridget McCabe, who will be attending Stonehill College, and Thomas Silvia, who will be attending Worcester State University; Mary Pinheiro 3rd Annual Memorial Scholarships awarded to Phoebe Cousens, who will be attending University of Vermont, Helena O. Farias, who will be attending Bridgewater State University, Owen Guilbeault, who will be attending Salve Regina University, and Abigail McArthur Keith, who will be attending University of Pittsburgh; Janet (Carlson) Gill Honorary Scholarship awarded to Connor Dumas, who will be attending UMass Amherst; Robert Gill Memorial Scholarship awarded to Maxwell Gaudreau, who will be attending University of New England; Ernest C. Frias Memorial Scholarship awarded to Madison Mazoyer, who will be attending Quinnipac University; Mary R. Frias Memorial Scholarship awarded to Abigail Arruda, who will be attending Roger Williams University; Wilfred Bonneau Memorial Scholarship awarded to Adam Veloso, who will be attending Massachusetts Maritime Academy; Christine (Bonneau) Bernabei Scholarship awarded to Isabella Freitas, who will be attending University of New England; Warren M. Barclay Memorial Scholarship awarded to Nina Lamarre, who will be attending Suffolk University, Madrid, Spain; Class of 1964 Memorial Scholarship awarded to Erin Tetrault, who will be attending Harding University.

The following awards honor the memories and dedication of Alumni Association members, past and present, with funds raised through the association's monthly fundraising dinners and donations earmarked for scholarships only:

Thelma (Wordell) McHugh Memorial Scholarship awarded to Shane Rose, who will be attending UMass Amherst; Lillian Amaral Memorial Scholarship awarded to Mary Bancroft, who will be attending Northeastern University; Doris (Davies) Davenport Honorary Scholarship to Charlotte Correiro, who will be attending Georgetown University; Natalie (Rodil) Miranda 2nd Memorial Scholarship awarded to Valerie Paynton, who will be attending Syracuse University; Grace (Gifford) Brook Memorial Scholarship awarded to Samantha Moniz, who will be attending Syracuse University.

The winner of the raffle prize — a two-night stay at the Commodore Inn in Stowe, Vermont donated by owner Bruce Nourjean, class of 1959 — was Judy Bobrowiecki from the class of 1983. Proceeds from the night went to benefit the Dartmouth High School Alumni Scholarship Fund.
