The first performance of the Summer Concert Series is set for June 15 at Apponagansett Park on Gulf Road.

All of the bands this year will have a Dartmouth connection, the first being Ageless. Six of the 13 bands picked last January by the Board of Parks and Recreation are returning from previous years and seven are new to the venue. Each band will play for two hours on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 per person; $4 per person in advance. Tickets for children under 12 are free. Season passes per person are $30. All advance ticket sales and season passes are payable by check at the Parks & Recreation Office at Town Hall, 400 Slocum Road, room 108.

Alcoholic beverages and pets are banned at events.

Rain dates are Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
