UMass Dartmouth students and concerned members of the public are welcome to the Sunrise Movement Southcoast’s first general meeting of the new decade on Thursday, January 23 from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Grand Reading Room of the UMass Dartmouth library.

The Sunrise Movement is a political and environmental movement led and run by students advocating for bold action on issues involving the environment and climate change at the local, state, and national level.

Participants will learn about the movement and how they can make a difference in advocating for climate change.

The Claire T. Carney Library at UMass Dartmouth is located on the main campus at 285 Old Westport Rd., Dartmouth.
