Get your Greek on.

St. George Greek Orthodox Church is hosting their Greek Festival on September 14, 15, and 16. Parking and admission are free, and the festival will feature Greek food, wine, and beer, along with a live Greek band and DJ, plus two days of Greek Dancers. The band will play on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Event are 5-10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday. Visit festival.gosaintgeorge.com for more information.

Have a backyard bash.

Kick off the school year at the Backyard Bash at the Dartmouth YMCA, 6-9 p.m. Kids between the ages of 5 and 13 can be dropped off at 6 p.m. and picked up by 9 p.m. to enjoy climbing the rock wall, practicing their aim with a bow, and having a pizza dinner. Pre-registration is required by the Wednesday before the event, and costs $15 for members plus $10 per additional sibling, or $20 for non-members plus $15 per additional sibling. Tour a farm.

Round the Bend Farm will host an Open Farm Day at its 92 Allen Neck Road location, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Non-GMO and grass-fed meat, seasonal veggies, honey, maple syrup, and herbal teas will be for sale. Farm tours will also be available. From 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Joanne O’Neil will lead a workshop on landscape attunement in the farm’s garden. Also from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Elements Nature Program co-directors Cristy O'Brien and Rachel Medeiros will offer free hands-on soil layering activities for children. Pig out at a pork roast.

The Paskamansett Engine Company and Dartmouth Fire District No. 3 will host its annual pig roast at 12 p.m. at its 140 Cross Road headquarters. The annual event, which benefits non-profit organizations, disaster relief funds, scholarship programs, and other charitable causes includes a main course of roasted pig. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person, children under 10 are free. There is no cost for children ten and under. To buy tickets, call the station at (508) 994-6761.

Ride for the Path.

The South Coast Bikeway Alliance (SCBA) is holding its first regional bike-ride fundraiser, Pedal for the Path, starting at 8 a.m. and beginning and ending at Dartmouth’s Running Brook Vineyard. The route is 51 miles. The event will help fund an engineering feasibility study for a multi-use South Coast Bikeway stretching from Swansea to Wareham.
