Listen to the classics.

Wareham summer resident Ariadne Daskalakis will stop at Friends Academy as part of a South Coast music tour. The 7 p.m. performance will include Mozart, Saraste, Schumann, and Beatles songs with vocalist and Friends Academy teacher Putnam Murdock. Concerts are open to the public, and admission is by donation.

Give blood.

The American Red Cross and the U.S. Army are teaming up to host a blood drive at the Dartmouth Council on Aging, 1-6 p.m. Appointments can be made in advance by visiting redcrossblood.com and entering USARMY when prompted, or by calling (800) 733-2767. Once registered, donators can answer required health history questions by visiting redcrossblood.org/RapidPass on the day of the drive.

Celebrate Padanaram.

The Padanaram Village Summer Festival will be held along Bridge and Elm Streets, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Visitors can expect sidewalk sales, an art show, festival activities, and food. The event is sponsored by the Padanaram Business Association. Visit Facebook.com/PadanaramVillage for more information.

Shop to help pets in need.

Animal Advocates will host a yard sale at 151/153 Rockland Street, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Shoppers can expect a variety of furniture, jewelry, collectibles and art, household items, toys, and tools. Rock out.

The annual Concert on the Green will take place at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, 5-11 p.m. The annual fundraiser for the Dartmouth Police Relief Association will include a performance by Fleetwood Mac tribute band Tusk, food, and a car show. Tickets are $10 for adults, and free for children 12 and under. Email dpaldpra@comcast.net to order tickets.

Get artsy.

The Vault Gallery of Fine Arts will host its Creature Feature Show, 3-6 p.m., at its 169 Rockdale Avenue location. The exhibit will feature Chuck Hauck's sculptures, and David Mello's whimsical ceramics. Visitors can expect sweet treats and drinks. Admission is free.

Explore Dartmouth's religious roots.

The Dartmouth Historical & Arts Society will present its second "Roots of Faith" lecture at 6:30 p.m. Speaker Pam Cole will explore the faith of Dartmouth's eighteenth century residents, who lived amidst two wars. Refreshments will be served; a $5 donation is suggested.
