Farmers’ Market offers local produce 

The Dartmouth Farmers’ Market will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 2 on the lawn at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 789 Dartmouth St. 

The market offers locally raised meats and eggs, locally grown produce and flowers and crafted food, handmade goods, crafts and art. Local musicians will perform.

Saturday, July 10

Garden tour and art fair

St. Julie’s Ladies Guild will host a garden tour and art fair on July 10.

The tour, which starts at St. Julie’s Church located at 494 Slocum Rd, will include six private gardens and two community gardens within Dartmouth and New Bedford’s historic district and will take place from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. 

The art fair will be held under canopies at the church from 10 a.m.to 5:30 p.m. and will feature the works of plein air artists.

Tickets are $28 in advance, and $30 on the day of the event. For more information, call (508) 992-7173.

Learn about lizards

Wednesday, July 14

Classic rock and roll band to perform

Louie Leeman and Cheap Sneakers, which plays classic rock and roll and R&B,, will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14 at Apponagansett Park, Gulf Road.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person at the gate, $4 in advance. Children younger than 12 are admitted free. A season pass is available for $30.

Advance ticket sales and season passes are available at the town Parks and Recreation Office.
