Dartmouth Farmer’s Market
The farmer's market features local farms, food producers, artisans, live music and community programming, and organizers are also seeking additional vendors.

The market will be open every Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the lawn at St. Mary's Parish Center, located at 795 Dartmouth Street. All forms of payment will be accepted, including SNAP, HIP and Senior and WIC Farmers Market Coupons.

Yard Sale
On Saturday, Aug. 15 the Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society will be hosting a yard sale.
The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Russells Mills School House, located at 1205 Russells Mills Road.
Antiques, books, household items, wooden bowls, small furniture, vases, dolls, art, frames, tools, puzzles and more will be for sale.
Table space to sell at the sale is available for a $10 donation and is on a first come, first serve basis. Participants must bring their own table, which must fit in a 10-foot by 10-foot area.
The rain date will be Sunday, Aug. 16.

Open Farm Day
Join Round the Bend Farm at their monthly Open Farm Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15.
The event is held on the third Saturday of each month. There will be hot and fresh food, fresh produce and meat available for purchase, a free market, farm tours and kids activities to learn about nature.
Round the Bend Farm is located at 92 Allens Neck Road.
Pig Roast
Dartmouth Fire District 3 and the Paskamansett Engine Company are hosting their annual pig roast on Saturday, August 15 at 12 p.m.
Tickets are $35, and children 10 and under eat free. To reserve tickets, call 508-994-67661. While the event begins at 12 p.m., lunch begins at 1 p.m.
The fire station is located at 140 Cross Road.
Dancing at a yurt
Visit the Down to Earth Yurt on Saturday, Aug. 15 for an upcoming dance concert featuring SOCO Movement Arts dancers.
The concert will be about the intersection of art and nature as the student dancers bring the farm to life through movement and grace. There will also be exotic percussive instruments and lite food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

Deer Talk
The Stone Barn will be hosting a three part series on ecology, history and conservation work at Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary.
The series will have stories, photographs and reflections.
The event is hosted by the Massachusetts Audubon Allens Pond, with provisions from The Bayside Restaurant and Daniel J. Galli and Associates.
Space is limited and should be reserved early.
