Town Hall announces new hours

The Dartmouth Select Board voted to make the Town Hall summer hours year round. 

The Town initially tried the summer hours starting at the end of June through Friday, Sept. 4. 

Town Administrator Cody Haddad had a survey sent to town hall employees to gauge whether they preferred these hours. Of those who responded, 79% wanted to make these hours year-round. 

“We’re trying to keep people happy that work for the town,” said Haddad, “Overwhelmingly, they enjoy the hours.”

This change will have no additional costs, and make Town Hall more accessible for those who work a typical 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. job. 

On Mondays, Town Hall will be open 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
