Officials have closed Dartmouth Town Hall today through Wednesday, Nov. 18 out of “an abundance of caution for health and safety,” according to an online announcement made by the town and by the Dartmouth Police Department.  

Town hall offices will be closed starting at noon on Nov. 12 and will reopen Wednesday.

Police spokesman Det. Kyle Costa noted that the closure is likely due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, with Dartmouth experiencing a spike in cases in the past two weeks.

It is unclear if any particular case or case cluster is responsible for the closure.
