A two-car crash in the area of 571 State Road sent three people to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries on July 3.

Identities of the victims were not released. The crash involved a Nissan Pathfinder and Chrysler Sebring. Injured were the male driver of the Nissan, his female passenger, and the male driver of the Chrysler, according to Dartmouth Police.

Police said it was unclear whether the victims were wearing seat belts.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.
