Two motorists were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following crash near 850 Faunce Corner Road Monday evening.

Officers and other emergency personnel responded to the crash at approximately 7:15 p.m.

At the scene, officers found that an 18-year-old East Freetown woman driving a Toyota Corolla had collided with a 37-year-old Dartmouth man in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

According to police, the female was sent to Rhode Island Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, while the man was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with less serious injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation, and no charges have yet been filed.
