UMass Dartmouth students will return to campus this coming weekend as classes are set to start on September 4.

Move-in activities will begin on September 1, when the university and town's newest residents — the Class of 2023 — make the move to the freshman dormitory buildings. Move-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and is scheduled to continue through 5:30 p.m. 

Transfer and new graduate students move in on September 2 from 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. All returning upperclass students move in on September 3. September 3 move-in begins at 8 a.m. and continues through 4 p.m.

Once arriving on campus, freshmen will go through an orientation process. A new student Convocation is scheduled for September 3 at 11 a.m. at the university amphitheater.
