On Saturday, October 27, come observe the night sky from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. during UMass Dartmouth’s Observatory’s open house. Viewing will take place through the observatory’s 16 inch telescope and others operated by members of the Astronomical Society of Southern New England.

The event can only take place if there are clear skies. If it must be cancelled, an announcement will be available before each event around 5 PM at https://www.meetup.com/ASSNE-MA-RI/ or by calling (508) 999-8715 for a recorded message.

The observatory is located in the field to the right of the main campus entrance at 285 Old Westport Rd. Parking will be available along Ring Road or in lot 17. Admission is free.
