The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth will host a discussion about Israeli and Palestinian relations on March 22 at 7 p.m. in the Library Grand Reading Room.

The discussion will feature Ali Abu Awwad, an author and Palestinian activist, and Hanan Schlesinger, an Orthodox rabbi and teacher. The discussion will focus on January 2014 meeting between Israelis and Palestinians in the Gush Etzion area, which led to a series of events connecting Palestinians and Israelis: meetings between families, a women’s group, workshops and joint responses to violence.
