Dartmouth resident Susan Pawlak-Seaman will give a talk about journalism, past, present and future, at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the grand reading room at the Claire T. Carney Library at UMass Dartmouth, 285 Old Westport Road.

A 45-year career journalist at The Standard-Times, New Bedford, she will share her newsroom experiences, meaningful stories she covered over the decades, and her lifelong passion for her profession. 

She will also reflect on the changes in community journalism and the challenges it faces now and in the future.
