The Dartmouth YMCA is set to host its fifth annual Walk for Hunger in collaboration with Project Bread, a Massachusetts food security organization.

Registration is still open for those interested in joining the three-mile walk on Sunday, May 5.

The walk will begin at Apponagansett Park at 9 a.m. and will travel over the Padanaram bridge, passing through the village neighborhood. 

Those interested are encouraged to be a member of the team: https://give.projectbread.org/team/565086  and to raise funds for their walk by sharing their page with their networks. 

As of Tuesday, April 23, the 20-member team has raised $10,100 of its $15,000 goal.

All funds raised will benefit Sharing the Harvest Community Farm. 

This is Project Bread’s 56th hunger walk. The goal this year is to raise $1.3 million.
