Animal Advocates — a nonprofit dedicated to preventing pet overpopulation — will host a yard sale on July 29 and 30 to benefit homeless dogs and cats.

Shoppers can expect a variety of furniture, jewelry, collectibles and art, household items, toys, and tools at the 9 a.m.-3 p.m. sale. After 1 p.m. on Sunday, everything is free.

The yard sale will be held at 151/153 Rockland Street, off of Dartmouth Street.
