The Dartmouth YMCA’s Sharing the Harvest Farm will hold its second walk for hunger on Sunday, May 7 to raise money for its food pantry program.

The walk will begin at 9 a.m. in Apponagansett Park.

Last year’s event included 75 walkers and raised almost $20,000. This year, the group has set a goal of 100 walkers and $25,000 raised.

60% of the proceeds from the walk will go back to the farm and will be used to support the local community through its food pantry programs.

The remaining 40% will go to Project Bread in Boston, a state-wide charity that advocates for policies that make food more accessible and helps connect communities with reliable food sources.
