Sep 30, 2015
Around 1:40 p.m., Dartmouth Police and Fire District 1 responded to a car stranded in water on Sol-E-Mar Street, near the area of Southworth Library.
A portion of the street near the entrance of the library had flooded from heavy rainfall that fell throughout the day on Sept. 30.
The car was quickly towed out of the flooded portion of the street as water began to subside.
Acting Fire Chief Jake Bettencourt said there were no injuries from the incident.
The National Weather Service predicts there will be a chance of rain throughout the weekend.
