Rehoboth man sentenced for role in prostitution in Dartmouth
A man from Rehoboth will be serving time in the House of Correction for his role in prostitution, according to Dartmouth police.
On Wednesday, Dec. 9, Justin Croke, 23, admitted to deriving support by prostitution, unarmed robbery, threatening, and larceny.
Police said Choke was charged in association with two separate prostitution-related incidents that took place in Dartmouth last March. Detective Kyle Costa, public information officer, said the incidents occurred in a motel in Dartmouth, but said the police would not specify which motel.
“With prostitution and human trafficking making daily headlines, I am very pleased with the hard work that our detectives devoted to this case, and the positive outcome that it rendered,” Acting Police Chief Robert Szala said in a release.
Croke will serve two and half years in the House of Correction. After Croke is released, he will be required to serve three years of probation.
