Earth Day Community Green Up set for April 23

Dartmouth’s annual Earth Day Community Green Up is set for April 23 when volunteers will clean up litter all over town.

Free trash bags are available for pick up at the Department of Public Works, 759 Russells Mills Road now until the clean up.

Trash bags will also be available at the Southworth Library and the North Dartmouth Library on April 9 from noon to 2 p.m.

On April 26, Department of Public Works crews will remove the trash bags from the following designated drop sites: Allen Street and Tucker Road, Apponagansett Park, Faunce Corner Road and Old Fall River Road, Dartmouth High School, Hixville Road at the railroad tracks, Horseneck Road, Dartmouth Middle School, Slocum Road and Russells Mills Road.
