Round the Bend Farm sustainability programs

Round the Bend Farm will offer a series of sustainability programs on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the coming months.

On May 7, Hannah Jacobson-Hardy will host Cleansing Herbs for Transitioning into Spring. Attendees will learn ways to incorporate spring tonics into a diet that promotes cleansing and detoxification. The cost is $15 for general admission, or $10 for members of a CSA (at any local South Coast farms).

Worm Composting 101 will be held on June 11. Participants will learn how to build a worm composting bin to generate nutrient-rich soil. The cost is $10 for general admission or $5 for CSA members.

A demonstration on raw food will take place on July 16. The cost is $10 for general admission or $5 for CSA members.

On August 20, a presentation on how to make non-toxic cleaning products will be held.  The cost is $10 for general admission or $5 for CSA members.
