Local band Mizer performs at Apponagansett Park
Parking was hard to find at Apponagansett Park on July 6, due to Dartmouth's Summer Concert Series.
Approximately 200 people set up lawn chairs and picnic blankets for Mizer—an R&B band featuring Dartmouth natives Erik Johnson (vocalist, also known as Jack Trade) and Caleb Rebelo (keyboard). The six-piece band also includes Morgan Mahoney (vocalist), Riley Stockwell (guitarist), Joe Tedesco (bass), and Mike Dettorre (drums).
The crew serenaded locals with covers such as Ginuwine's "Pony," "Hypnotize" by The Notorious B.I.G., and R. Kelly's "Ignition," and performed a few original pieces.
The concert was one of the weekly, Wednesday-night performances hosted by Dartmouth's Parks and Recreation Department. Visit town.dartmouth.ma.us for more information, or check out any of these local summer concerts venues:
