Learn about oyster growing.
The Lloyd Center is hosting a one-hour lecture on oyster aquaculture at 6:30 p.m. Head to the 430 Potomska Road location to meet Dartmouth Harbormaster Steve Melo, Padanaram Oyster Farm owner Steve Caravana, Lloyd Center outreach director Liz Moniz, and Tabor Academy's Nautical Science Chairman Dave Bill.

Enjoy a yoga lesson.
From Friday to Sunday, Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary will offer yoga classes at the Stone Barn property, located at 786 Horseneck Road. Friday and Saturday’s sessions will be held 9-10:30 a.m. Sunday’s yoga session, which will feature Kundalini practice, will run from 7-8:30 a.m. Classes are $15 each. Support land conservation.
The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust will be hosting its 11th annual Barn Bash fundraiser at the Sylvan Nursery Barn (253 Horseneck Road), 5:30-10 p.m. The event features music from “Three Cats and a Dog,” dance, tapas and an open bar, and a silent auction.
Proceeds raised benefit land conservation in Dartmouth. Tickets for the Barn Bash are $85. For more information, or to purchase a ticket, visit dnrt.org/barn-bash.
Sunday, August 28
Remember Perry’s Grove.
The Dartmouth Historical & Arts Society will host an afternoon lecture on August 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Russells Mills Schoolhouse, located at 1205 Russells Mills Road.
"Remembering Perry's Grove" and will include a panel of Dartmouth residents with direct connections to that North Dartmouth venue that closed in 1959. The location is now a parking lot facility for the Country Club of New Bedford. The program will begin with a slide show explaining the history and background of the families involved, and memories of various events associated with Perry's clambake. $5 donation suggested.
