The Lloyd Center for the Environment’s Outreach Specialist Jen Wimmer will be hosting Nature Discoveries—an hour-long adventure appropriate for children ages 2-6.

Participants will investigate nature topics by reading nature-themed books and exploring the Lloyd Center. Live animal demonstrations, specimens to observe and touch, hikes, activities and crafts bring nature themes to life for Lloyd Center Nature Discovery guests.

This program will take place on Saturday, September 10 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Participants are to meet at the Lloyd Center’s Visitor Center located at 430 Potomska Road. The cost of Nature Discoveries is $5 for Lloyd Center members and $6 for non-members. Space is limited to 20. All ages and siblings are welcome.
