Dartmouth could welcome four to seven inches of snow today, according to the National Weather Service.

In preparation for the morning and early afternoon accumulation, a parking ban has been issued until 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 10. During the ban, no parking is allowed on the hydrant side of town streets. On streets with no fire hydrants, parking is only allowed on the side of the street with even house numbers.

All Dartmouth public schools, Friends Academy, and Bishop Stang High School will be closed on Friday, March 10.

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth will be closed on March 10. A parking ban along Ring Road remains in effect. Some university services such as the fitness center will remain open, visit umassd.edu for details.

Town Hall will be closed on March 10 due to weather.
