The Lloyd Center will host its first Spring Bird Walk of the year on April 29, 7-9 a.m.

Research Associate Jaime Bogart will lead the walk, titled “Migrants on the Move.” Participants will search for migrant songbirds and shorebirds, including osprey, that pass through the region.

The event takes place at the Lloyd Center, located at 430 Potomska Road. The cost of attending is $3 for Lloyd Center members, $5 for non-members, and $2 for children under 12. Space is limited. The event is suited for those age 10 and older.

Participants should bring binoculars and a bird guide if they have them.
