Dartmouth High's Victoria Cameron to play Cinderella with New Bedford Ballet
Dartmouth High senior Victoria Cameron captures Cinderella’s graceful, light-hearted kindness in the New Bedford Ballet's June 10 production of Cinderella.
Set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev and the choreography of artistic director Rebecca Waskiel-Marchesseault, along with ballet instructors James Brown and Eugenia Zinovieva, dancers of all ages will bring the timeless rags-to-riches fairytale to life in celebration of New Bedford Ballet’s 30th anniversary. In addition, colorful sets and charming costumes light the theatre with magical moments, complete with a whimsical pumpkin carriage, a glamorous royal ball, and the dramatic striking of the dreaded midnight hour.
The performances will start at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Zeiterion Theatre. Reserved tickets are $22. General admission prices are $17 for adults, and $10 for seniors, students, and children. Special group rates are available for non-profit organizations. Tickets can be purchased by contacting New Bedford Ballet at (508) 993-1387.
