Internal medicine specialist Dr. Theophilus Addo, MD, FACP, has joined Southcoast Health, according to a news release. As a member of Southcoast Physicians Group, Addo will see patients at 300A Faunce Corner Road.

Addo earned his undergraduate and medical degree in Ghana from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Addo completed his residency in internal medicine at the Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. For the past 13 years, he has worked as a primary care physician in New Bedford and Newport.

Addo is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
