A portion of Reed Road was closed for hours on July 7 after a Dartmouth teen struck a utility pole.

Alexander Aubin, 18, was injured following a motor vehicle crash in the area of 1000 Reed Road around 2 a.m., police said.

Aubin was driving a 2001 GMC Yukon when he struck a utility pole, causing the pole to break and drop wires in the roadway, police said.

Aubin received minor injuries, and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital as a precaution. There, he was treated and released.
