Best-selling author William Alexander will speak at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth library on October 23 at 4 p.m.

Hosted by the Boivin Center for French Language and Culture, the talk will include a discussion of Alexander’s books, which includes the memoir The $64 Tomato and 52 Loaves, A Half-Baked Adventure, and Flirting with French: How a Language Charmed Me, Seduced Me, and Nearly Broke My Heart, about Alexander’s lifelong dream of learning to speak French at age 57.

A question and answers session, book signing, and light reception will follow the program. It is free and open to the public. Parking is available on campus in lot 13.
