South Coast Artists, Inc. is offering current high school students $500 grants to pursue an artistic project.

The grants are being offered to current high school students from the towns of Dartmouth and Westport, Massachusetts, and Tiverton and Little Compton, Rhode Island. Grants are intended to cover the costs of art materials and supplies, art-related travel, training, classes, or other expenses towards completion of a creative project or goal.

A recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or other nonfamily member is required to be elgible for a grant. Grant applications can be downloaded from the South Coast Artists website, southcoastartists.org. The deadline for applications is October 2.
