The Dartmouth Housing Authority is seeking to fill two vacancies, by appointment, on its board.

The organization is responsible for overseeing and managing several properties, including the 44-bedroom elderly and handicapped units at Sol-E-Mar, Monroe Terrace, and the recently opened O’Connor Sisson House for veterans, and also oversees housing programs in Dartmouth including the Section 8 voucher program.

The Dartmouth Housing Authority also manages the Swansea Housing Authority, which itself manages several properties and housing programs in Swansea.

Board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. Locations alternate between complexes throughout Dartmouth.

The deadline is December 1, 2017. Qualified applicants will be contacted by the board for an interview. Appointments will be made at a joint meeting with the Select Board.
