Haley Jenkins finds a place for bottled water on a bus bound for hurricane-ravanged Texas. The Dartmouth community filled an entire bus set up by Dartmouth Police with donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey in just five hours on September 9. It's one of several donation drives held for victims of the hurricane. A powerful storm blew through Dartmouth overnight on October 29-30, knocking out power for hundreds of residents and tossing more than a dozen boats in Padanaram Harbor into land, like these boats along Smith Neck Road. A decades-old cold case came to a close on July 13 in a Dartmouth backyard. The remains of Donald Webb, a career criminal accused of gunning down a Pennsylvania police chief in 1980 and disappearing shortly after, were dug up in the backyard of his wife Lillian Webb's Maplecrest Drive home.
