Paul L. Cormier, 77, of Dartmouth, passed away on January 24, 2018.

Born in Acushnet, the son of the late Lionel J. and Isabel (Lemos) Cormier, he lived his entire life in the greater New Bedford area.

He was a retired teacher, having taught math in Fairhaven Public Schools for 35 years. Upon retiring from teaching, he founded and operated the Dartmouth Business Associates providing onsite coordinating services for educational seminars throughout the United States and Canada, retiring from business in 2013.

He is survived by three children, Michelle M. Gifford of Dartmouth, Jeffrey P. Cormier of Fairhaven, and Lynne B. Rose of Plymouth; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.

Visitation is January 30, 5-8 p.m. Funeral will be on January 31, 9 a.m. at the home followed by a Mass of Requiem at St Mary's Church, 343 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford at 10am. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
